We have the ability to file Incorporations electronically in Florida. Nevada does not have the technology at this time-- hopefully, soon. If you want us to file your Incorporation electronically we will type your Articles of Incorporation and fax them for your review and signature. Once we receive them back from you, we will fax them to the Department of State. Your NEW CORPORATION will be formed within 24 hours. We will fax you a certified copy as soon we receive them.

What is the Cost of Incorporating my Business?

The Cost Varies from State to State. In Florida the Cost is $210. The Cost will vary depending on the type of services you request. All Costs are listed at the bottom of our Online Intake form On-Line Form

Do I need a Tax ID Number?

Yes. All banks require that you have a Tax ID number to setup a bank account under the corporate name. CourtAccess Centers of America can prepare this form for you or you can have your accountant prepare the form. If you already have a Tax ID number for another business or a sole proprietorship you will need to obtain another number for your New Corporation.

You must file form SS-4 with the IRS to obtain your New Tax ID number. You can obtain your Tax ID number by phone as long as you have a completed Tax ID form. The Phone number for the IRS Tel-Tin Line is 770-455-2360, or talk to your accountant.

   What is a Registered Agent?

A Registered Agent is someone who will be responsible to receive any service of process for the corporation. This person must have a physical address in the state where the corporation is registered. If you do not live in the state where your Incorporation is located you will have to have someone in that state act as your Registered Agent. CourtAccess Centers can assist you with this.

If you are in need of this service please check the appropriate box on the Online Form. There is an annual fee for this service. Ask your contact at CourtAccess Centers if you need more information. Please remember that Post Office boxes are not sufficient for the Registered Agent.

Do I need to use Corporation, Inc., Incorporated, Corp, Co. or Company after the name I have chosen?

Yes. The Division of Corporations requires that you use one of the above so that your customers know they are dealing with a corporation. We will check the name that you are requesting to see if it is available. If the name you have chosen is not available, we will contact you about alternatives.

Can I put my home address down for the business address?

We will use any address you give us for your business address. PO Boxes are axceptable for this address. If you are using the Registered Agent Service, (In Nevada) the Registered Agent's address will be the address for the place of business.

If you are just starting your business and want to use your home address at first, and then change it, you can do this by filing an amendment. The cost for filing an amendment varies from state to state (PO Boxes are acceptable).
